  15. The word from Steve Friedrich is that the current inherited DoWrite and DoRead
  16. are basically useless:  they put data in the data fork, which is probably not
  17. what the final application should do.  In 2.1, he intends to fix it to put some
  18. more sensible data (including version data) in the resource fork.  But it is
  19. too late to make those changes for 2.0.  He recommends that for the present,
  20. the developer simply manage his/her own document data and ignore MacApp's
  21. DoRead/Write code.
